Christmas Capers

The first weekend of December was a buzz with festive activity, with over 60 parents and teachers heralding the start of the Christmas season at the Goat Grill. There was plenty of yuletide cheer and fun on the dancefloor courtesy of Dave, the dancing DJ.

The following day, the PTA ran a children’s clothes stall at the Parish Bazaar and donated about 20 bags of leftovers to the NCBI’s Bag for Blindness campaign thereafter. Many thanks to those who generously contributed! The event raised a total of €9,700 for several charitable causes including the missions, homelessness, and cancer research.

Later that week, we distributed 7,010 cards to the children who participated in the Christmas Cards for Schools project, so a very well done to them on the superb creativity shown and a big thank you to the parents for supporting this fundraising effort.
